Support of GoMeetNow Web Conferencing Service

 

Your satisfaction is important to us. We want your experience with GoMeetNow web conferencing service to be as good as “being there”. While we do not offer Web conferencing support for a specific meeting, we do support the use of GoMeetNow.   • Windows 2000, XP, 2003, Vista, 7
  • Windows Mobile 5 or later (view only)

  • 10.4 or later, Intel or PPC based

Other platforms (Linux, Unix, iPhone, etc):

Bandwidth Requirements:

  • For interactive meetings, there is no minimum bandwidth requirement.
  • For web seminars, you need to meet the minimum bandwidth below:
    • Host: At least 300kps upload speed.  Use this site to test your upload speed if you are in the US.
    • Attendee: At least 250kps download speed. If you use iPhone to join a seminar, you should use WiFi connection.

How do I retrieve my lost password?

Click the “(Forget password?)” link under the Login button at the login page and enter your email address. The system will send you a new password. After you use the new password, click “Account” at the left panel and reset your new password.

Can anyone join my meetings?

You can invite anyone to join your meetings but should not register them in the system. They don't need a GoMeetNow account. However, you do need to register those users who want to host meetings.

How much bandwidth does the system take?

For a typical PowerPoint presentation session over a broadband connection, the bandwidth required is only 1K bytes per second on average. The peak speed varies depending on your available bandwidth.

Is a separate meeting room required for each registered user or can multiple users schedule a meeting for the same room?

No meeting room is required for a registered user. Before a meeting actually starts, a user does not hold any meeting room.

Because of this late binding of license usage, you can register as many users as you want in the system. The system only controls the number of meetings that are active and the number of total participants (meeting hosts and attendees) in an active meeting.  

I have a large screen. How do I limit what is viewed by the attendees?

Regardless of how large your screen is and how many monitors you have, the default view to your attendees is the scaled-down version of your screen that fits your attendees' screen. This fit-to-screen display may not display a clean screen of yours. A better way is to select an application (or a monitor) to show.

Does GoMeetNow use SSL encryption?

All user passwords, meeting passwords and meeting IDs are transmitted via SSL between GoMeetNow clients and the GoMeetNow server.
